F1-bird at 45 days of age produced by the crossing of a ‘Sparkley’ mutant male of Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica) with a female of Harlequin quail (Coturnix delegorguei).

Objective is trying to bring the ‘Sparkley’ gene by transmutation into the African harlequin quail.
The first F2 will probably be produced at the end of 2019 with this bird that will be paired with 2 years old pure females of African harlequin quails.
