Male alone after the sudden and unexpected death of his female during the spring of 2019.
After many searches, no replacement hen found so, breeding-season prematurely

I made some other pictures of the same male bird, on June 25th, 2020.
The bird was very old, as you can see the scales on his legs.
His beak had also become quite deformed.
The bird ended its days peacefully, at the end of the same year.
I unfortunately never have found a replacement female for him and that is the saddest thing in my opinion.
